A couple weeks back, we shared with you Geoff Johns’s tweet about the costume for the new Flash on the WB spinoff show of the same name. Well, DC Comics and the WB have now released a full length look at the new costume, as modeled by Grant Gustin:
More information after the jump.
According to the release on DC’s site:
The CW’s new pilot The Flash, from Warner Bros. Television and based upon characters published by DC Comics, is currently in production. The Flash’s costume was designed by three-time Oscar® winner Colleen Atwood, who also designed the costume for Arrow and whose motion picture credits include Academy Awards® for her work on Alice in Wonderland, Memoirs of a Geisha and Chicago, as well as seven additional Oscar® nominations for films such as Snow White and the Huntsman, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Sleepy Hollow, among others.
Gustin debuted as Barry Allen last December, on Arrow for two episodes – just long enough to give him a quick back story and introduce the chemical accident that gives him his super speed. The pilot for The Flash is in pre-production now and will debut later this year.
