You know, sometimes when I’m watching Cartoon Network, usually, but not always, during Adult Swim, I think, “Am I drunk?” However, watching this trailer for the proposed DC Nation block of programming, set to air on Cartoon Network next year, I find myself thinking, “Am I drunk enough?” The following video and programming info comes via Bleeding Cool. Go pour yourself a couple fingers of brain-be-gone, come back and hit play.
The line up will include Young Justice and the new Green Lantern series – the first two episodes of the latter have aired and is worth checking out for the CGI animation:
The rest of the block ranges from something called Super Best Friends Forever, which, perhaps frighteningly, seems to involve a unicorn, to some cool looking Aardman Batman animation, to Lego animation. You may have also noticed some Doom Patrol and live action Blue Beetle in there, too.
I really enjoyed some of the older DC cartoon programming like Batman Beyond and Justice League Unlimited from back in the day…um, you know, 1999? So, I’m definitely game for new programming. Bring it on, DC. I should be able to stock up on lots of whiskey between now and 2012 in preparation.
